Passengers, staffers brawl at Lahore airport for nine hours delayed takeoff

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Allama Iqbal International Airport’s flight scheduled for takeoff on Sunday night departed with at least nine hours delay as staffers entered a strife with passengers.
The flight PK-307 was supposed to leave for Karachi at around 10:30pm however, the departure was delayed time and again for then undisclosed reasons. The irked passengers exchanged hot words and entered a rift with the airport staff.

The protesting passengers said that they were enraged as the crew did not disclose reasons for the untimely delay.
Later, the airport administration said that there was a technical fault. The flight finally left for its destination at around 9am today.
