Summary Sarwar's slip of tongue was picked up and showed as a spectacle by the media

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Just when Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Raja Sarwar tried to make an impression by saying a sentence or two in English, it didn’t go as well as he’d hoped and he ended up saying “corruption should be across the board…we support it.”

According to details, PML-N delegate met Secretary Election Commission and other high level officials and expressed reservation over local body elections in Punjab and Sindh.

When the PML-N leaders took to the podium to talk to the media after the meeting, Sarwar fell to slip of tongue and ended up saying they support corruption.

Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said that Punjab government is ready for the local body elections but the election commission should extend the date of submitting party tickets originally set at September 11.

He said the election in Punjab will not be like the way it took place in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. PML-N leader said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan should not take the escape route.
