Former Joint Secretary Bar Council Amir Haider Shah killed by firing near Hassan Square in Karachi
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Former Joint Secretary of Karachi Bar Council Amir Haider Shah was on Friday killed in firing near Hassan Square while one other was injured in the incident. Moreover, the suspect of the attack on Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Rashid Godil was also among the 21 arrested today in various operations by Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and police, reported Dunya News.
According to detail, Amir Haider Shah was murdered in Karachi. SSP East Javed Jaskani told that the investigation of the incident is still underway.
In Clifton, Counter Terrorism department acted upon intelligence to arrest a suspect. Sources claim that the arrested person, named Waseem, is being investigated regarding attack on Rasheed Godil. 3 suspects were arrested by law-enforcing agencies in Gulshan-e-Iqbal. The arrested suspects belong to a political party.
1 suspect was arrested from University Road. The suspect was injured in the police encounter before being caught.
On the other hand, 13 including 7 foreigners were arrested by FIA Anti Human Trafficking Wing. According to Additional Director FIA Ashfaq Alam, the arrested suspects had reached Pakistan in launches. The arrested suspects are Iranian nationals and used to get fake Identity Cards from NADRA with the help of fake documents.
