A woman had died due to gastro while as many as 18 gastroenteritis cases were reported from district hospital Sargodha, the authorities do not seem to be paying much heed to the outbreak.Poor sanitation and unclean potable water have led to increase in the number of gastro cases. A 24-year-old woman identified as Ayesha, had died due to gastro. She had been suffering from acute diarrhoea. Hundreds of gastro cases have been reported during the last 24 hours. The hospital authorities are facing acute shortage of medicine. The patients are facing severe difficulties since the air-conditioners are also not functioning.
