Iran-Pakistan trade likely to be increased to USD 5 billion

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Trade total between Pakistan and Iran is likely to be increased to at least USD 5 billion.

Ambassadors of both sides will meet to finalise the agreement soon in the federal capital.

The grand total set is for the coming five years of trade between the two countries. The meeting is likely to discuss new methods for efficient trade. In the present time, Pakistan exports are worth USD 43 million while imports worth USD 186 million are being done with Iran.

Earlier in 2010, the total trade done between two sides was USD 1 billion.
