Summary Election tribunal didn't provide copy of important documents on time, says Ayaz Sadiq
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ayaz Sadiq on Tuesday has postponed the decision of submiting plea challenging election tribunal’s NA-122 verdict in Supreme Court (SC), Dunya News reported.
He said that election tribunal did not provide copy of important documents on time due to which the plea will be registered on Wednesday.
Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday issued the notification cancelling Sardar Ayaz Sadiq’s membership of the National Assembly (NA) and declaring Lahore’s NA-122 as vacant.
On the other hand, ECP has stated that the authorities would hold re-polling in NA-122 in case of not getting restraining order from SC.
