Summary One necklace belonged to film-star Babra Sharif, other belonged to PML-F MNA Shah Jehan Munir
ISLAMABAD, LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Two necklaces were stolen from Lahore and Islamabad on Monday. One of them belonged to film-star Babra Sharif while the other one belonged to Pakistan Muslim League – Functional (PML-F) MNA Shah Jehan Munir, reported Dunya News.
According to details, Shah Jehan Munir’s necklace was stolen from Parliament Lodges, located in Red Zone, Islamabad. Not only did the thieves take away the necklace worth Rs. 4 million but also 375 grams of gold as well. The MNA nominated the maid in the FIR, acting upon which Secretariat Police Station police arrested Lubna, Sidra and Aamir.
It is pertinent to mention here that the nomination papers filed by Shah Jehan Munir in the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) did not mention this diamond necklace.
The other diamond necklace, belonging to Babra Sharif, was stolen from Lahore. Servants Tariq and Asiya have been accused of the robbery in the FIR. Babra Sharif alleged that both the servants stole the necklace worth Rs. 3 million from the safe. Police registered the case in Ghalib Market Police Station on August 8 but released the suspects after investigation. According to police, the necklace robbery case is suspicious but the investigations are underway.
