Summary ECP has issued the schedule for by-election in PP-16 Attock, election to be held on October 6
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has on Monday issued the schedule for PP-16 provincial assembly seat, Attock, Punjab, by-election. The election will be held on October 6, reported Dunya News.
PP-16 was vacated after the death of former Home Minister Punjab Shuja Khanzada in a terrorist attack.
According to the schedule, the candidates can submit their nomination papers on 8th and 9th of September. Scrutiny of the papers will be conducted on 10th and 11th of September while appeals against acceptance or rejection of papers will be filed on 14th September. The final list of the candidates will be issued on September 17 and the election will be held on October 6.
