LAHORE (Dunya News) – Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq on Friday said that Pakistan will not be able to stand on its feet if Zarb-e-Azb and Karachi operations left unfinished, Dunya News reported.

Addressing a seminar in Lahore on the topic of terrorism and role of media, Sadiq said it is crucial that Karachi operation and Zarb-e-Azb are completed, adding that Pakistan will be on the losing end if these operations are not completed.

He said they have to turn Pakistan into what was envisioned by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The Speaker said that operation Zarb-e-Azb started with a delay, adding that every step was taken to bring extremists on negotiation table but it didn’t work.

Presenting rich tributes to slain Punjab Home Minister Shuja Khanzada, Ayaz Sadiq said Khanzada’s sacrifice made the future of Pakistan’s children secure. He said Khanzada was a son of the soil who offered his life as sacrifice for the country.

Ayaz Sadiq said enemies don’t like the Pak-China Economic Corridor project. He said India’s attitude tells what kind of negotiation it wants and that India’s reaction over Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference is representative of its attitude.
