KARACHI (Dunya News) – Rangers on Thursday has obtained a copy of anti-terrorism court’s (ATC) order that allows Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Amir Khan to leave for abroad.

The law officer of the Rangers said that the department would appeal in the Sindh High Court (SHC) after reviewing the order. He further said that subordinate court could not revert its order passed earlier.

The ATC had permitted Khan to leave for Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj.

The development has come in the case regarding Rangers search and siege operation at MQM headquarters Nine-Zero on March 11. The security personnel had apprehended Khan under allegations of giving safe havens to criminals.
