Summary Bullet that penetrated Godil's chest has not been removed yet, says Dr Anjum Rizvi
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) MNA Rashid Godil’s critical condition lingers on Thursday as doctors have termed next 24 hours to 48 hours extremely important.
Godil is under treatment in Liaquat National Hospital in Sindh metropolitan after miscreants opened fire hitting him on neck, jaw and lungs.
Hospital’s spokesperson Dr Anjum Rizvi said that bullet that penetrated Godil’s chest has not been removed yet. A lung has been badly affected, he added. However, Dr Rizvi said that his condition is better than August 19.
On the other hand, different politicians and known faces are showing up at the hospital to inquire about Godil’s wellbeing including Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani.
