29 militants killed in Orakzai

As many as 29 militants were killed while several wounded in security forces offensive in Orakzai Agency on Friday. According to sources, forces gunship helicopters pounded militants hideouts in Ghandki and Mullapati areas in upper Orakzai destroying four hideouts. Sources said that the security forces managed to wrest control of Ghundi and Mushti Kundi. Some 29 militants including local militant commander Naqeeb Ullah and Commander Zahid were killed in the action. On the other hand, clashes continued between local tribes and Mulla Toofan group in Nekapatti area in central Kurram. Three militants were killed and five wounded in these clashes.
