Zaheerul Islam should face treason case if allegations proved right: Asad Umar

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Asad Umar on Saturday has said that if Mushahidullah Khan’s statement is proved true, a treason case should be initiated against Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) former director general (DG).
He said that Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has to take a clear stand. Theatrical tactics like “good coup” and “bad coup” should not be displayed, he added. He said that if the PM thinks Mushahidullah Khan’s statement is wrong then he should subject Khan to a case.
Federal Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has also leveled serious allegations against former DG Lt General Zaheerul Islam, he added.
