KASUR (Dunya News) – Troubled families on Thursday are reported to be hesitant in filing pleas against child abuse culprits while another case has been registered against criminals after second video clip surfaced.
Earlier, Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) had granted physical remands of as many as 12 culprits out of 15 nominated. Police are in process of interrogation. Several affected families had prepared pleas on August 12 while some were finalised at least two days ago. However, not a single family has approached the local police station in this regard.
Reportedly, majority of the families are afraid of the “influential” criminals in the case. Separately, another case has been filed in Ganda Sindh Wala Police Station after second clip of child abuse surfaced.
The authorities have prepared a helipad in the area which hints Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif’s visit anytime.
