Summary Pakistan got its protests recorded on firing at LoC; Indian Deputy High Commissioner summoned at FO

ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Pakistan got its strong protest recorded on Tuesday by summoning Indian Deputy High Commissioner to Foreign Office (FO) against unprovoked firing at Line of Control (LoC).

According to FO Spokesperson, 28-year-old Farida got seriously injured by Indian firing at the LoC in Jindroot sector on August 8 and she succumbed to injuries today. Indian firing incidents on August 9 in Nakyal, Bhimber Gali and Kotli sectors were also strongly condemned.

India violated the LoC and Working Boundary 37 times during the month of July and 24 times during August. Spokesperson told that strong protest was recorded with the Indian government and it was stressed upon that India stops violation of the Working Boundary and the LoC, respecting the 2003 ceasefire agreement.
