Pakistan fails to satisfy IMF with permanent solution to circular debt

Summary Finance Ministry has geared up to make strategies for controlling circular debt.

DUBAI (Dunya News) – Pakistan has failed to provide permanent solution to circular debt to International Monetary Fund (IMF), Dunya news reported.

As per details, the Pakistani delegation was not able to satisfy IMF in the recently held meeting in Dubai. IMF personnel showed reservations over the situation of Pakistan and said that 80 percent increase in electricity prices has also not lessened the circular debt.
Circular debt of power debt has crossed Rs 600 billion.

Moreover, finance ministry has geared up to make strategies for controlling circular debt.
