Saudi company bids highest for NPCC

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – A Saudi Arabian company, Mansour Al Mosaid on Tuesday has won bidding of National Power Construction Company (NPCC) as privatization of national institutions continues.

The company has bought NPCC with a bid of at least Rs 2.49 billion.

Privatisation Commission (PC) Chairman Muhammad Zubair said that other organizations including Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and Steel Mills would also be privatized in coming months.

According to the details, Mosaid offered Rs 1420 per share. The government had offered 80 percent of company’s shares to potential buyers while the remaining 12 percent are owned by the employees.
