ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Supreme Court (SC) on Tuesday has rejected mercy petition of accused of double murder and restored his execution, Dunya News reported.

A three-member bench headed by Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk heard the petition filed by suspect Ikhlaq Ahmad. During the hearing, the accused pleaded to stop his execution but was rejected by Chief Justice.

It is pertinent to mention here that felon Ikhlaq slaughtered as many as two people over land dispute.
