Police manhandle disable protesters outside Sindh Assembly

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Disabled people on Monday protested outside the Sindh Assembly to restore their job quota and other demands, Dunya News reported.

Police while pushing and dragging the protesters on ground manhandled them. Many female demonstrators fainted in the instance.

One lady police official snatched walking stick of a disable woman and tried to drag her away by holding he arms and legs.

Police also detained many protesters during the protest.

After the news went on air on media, Sindh Interior Minister Noor Muhammad Sayal reached outside the assembly to meet the disabled protesters and assured them of fulfilling their demands whereas he also ascertained them that action will be taken against those police officers who shoved the demonstrators.
