Summary Suspects involved in grabbing, selling of govt land exposed as Railways seems to be easiest target
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – A group involved in china-cutting of Pakistan Railways’ land in Karachi has on Saturday been exposed. Suspects named Asif Lanya, Imran Agaahi, Chaudhry Javed, Zia, Aftab Pathan and others were allegedly involved in grabbing and selling the government owned land while Pakistan railways turned out to be the easiest target for the land-grabbers, reported Dunya News.
Railways’ land is the most beneficial and the easiest target for the land-grabbers. Law-enforcing agencies finally dug out the group involved in china-cutting of government land. The group involved in grabbing the government land, constructing buildings and then selling them on includes Asif Lanya, Imran Agaahi, Chaudhry Javed, Zia, Feroze Bangali, Aftab Pathan and Rashid Memon.
Law-enforcing agencies have collected their pictures and all the record according to which Asif Lanya and Imran Agaahi grabbed Railways’ land with the help of their aides in Gulshan Iqbal, Malir and Baloch Goth. Feroze Bangali constructed residential projects ob grabbed land in Sarjani and Gulistan-e-Johar. Aftab Pathan grabbed lands of National Highway and Shah Latif Town.
According to investigation, Aftab Pathan had the backing of an important political personality Awais Muzaffar Tappi. Law-enforcing agencies told that complete record of the land grabbers has been obtained.
