ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The National Assembly Secretariat on Saturday said that they cannot invite Speaker of Indian-held Kashmir Assembly to the Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference despite Indian boycott, adding that Pakistan fully supports Kashmiris’ right to self determination.
In a statement issued by the NA secretariat, it was stated that Pakistan cannot invite Speaker of Indian occupied Kashmir to the Commonwealth Parliamentary conference despite Indian boycott.
It said that Pakistan wants the resolution of Kashmir conflict to be as per the United Nations’ resolutions.
The Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference is scheduled to take place in Islamabad from September 30th to October 8th. All arrangements in this regard have been completed.
As many as 403 delegates from 53 countries have assured their participation in the conference.
