QUETTA (Dunya News) - Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif on Thursday has approved Peaceful Balochistan plan to restore Balochistan’s harmony and to bring angry Balochs back into the national stream.
During the meeting of apex committee in Quetta, PM Nawaz gave approval of launching the project.
According to sources, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar, Nawab Sanaullah Zehri, governor Balochistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai and Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch attended the meeting.
Earlier today, PM Nawaz laid foundation stone of as many as three development projects in Quetta. These included Mangi Dam, Balochistan Agriculture University and Flyover on Smungli Road. Nawaz Sharif was also given briefing on these projects.
He was accompanied by the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar and Nawab Sanaullah Zehri.
