Summary NDMA reported that over 770,000 have been evacuated from flood-hit areas.

LAHORE (Web Desk) – Punjab Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) on Thursday reported that there is high level flood in Indus River at Taunsa while other major rivers and nullahs are flowing normally.

Water flow in Indus River at Taunsa is measured at 573,108 cusecs, Tarbela 406,000 cusecs, Kalabagh 465,923 cusecs and Chashma 482,164 whereas Jhelum, Sutlej, Chenab and Ravi rivers are flowing normally.

On the other hand, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has continued rescue and relief operations in flood-hit areas of the country.

Over seventy thousand tents, four thousand ration packs, 1500 tarpaulins, and 8367 blankets have so far been distributed among the flood-affected people.

As per details, over 770,000 have been evacuated from flood-hit areas.

One hundred and fifty medical and 737 relief camps have been set-up for flood victims across the country.
