Summary Kulsoom Nawaz and PM Nawaz Sharif have invited to join PML-N, says Hashmi

MULTAN (Dunya News) – Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) president Makhdoom Javed Hashmi on Wednesday has said that PTI’s decision to sit in the Parliament is morally wrong but is correct in the eyes of the law.

He expressed these views while talking to the media at his residence.

He said that rest of the political parties should not create hurdles for PTI’s return.

While talking about Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain’s speeches, he accused him of treason and demanded the government to bring him back for trial. He urged political parties to not put hurdles in the second biggest party’s way.

Hashmi said that the military leadership chose a rather legal pathway instead of intervening in the political scenario. He welcomed decision of establishment of military courts and the Supreme Court’s (SC) verdict in the matter. The democratic forces are thankful to the military leadership for choosing a legal path, he added.

Hashmi said that Kulsoom Nawaz and Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif have invited him to join Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). He will make a decision in the matter soon, he added.
