Summary Nawaz urged JUI-F chief to reconsider the decision
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Fazlur Rehman on Friday has insisted on going ahead with resolution against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in a meeting with Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif.
The two leaders held a meeting to discuss matter of de-seating PTI parliamentarians.
The JUI-F chief said that resolution to de-seat absentees is a legal matter. In eyes of the law, PTI parliamentarians are no longer members of the Parliament. He said that since it is according to the Constitution of Pakistan, the party would not withdraw its resolution.
PM Nawaz said that there are as many as four days to go before voting begins so JUI-F should reconsider the decision.
