ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar on Friday has said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had a clear conscience which is why Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan’s all demands were met.

He expressed these views while talking to the media in federal Board of Revenue (FBR) office.

Dar said that PTI has returned to the Parliament and now is the time to attend issues faced by the people of the country. He said that fiscal deficit has reduced by at least five percent while the department will try to control budget deficit.

The federal minister expressed a resolve to speed up tax recovery processes. Times to run country on debt have gone, he added.

He said that elections would be held in 2018 and the people would decide who to give the mandate on basis of performances. He further said that if need be Amendment in the Constitution would be brought for electoral reforms.
