The compensation cheques given to the affectees of the Data Darbar suicide bombing by the Punjab government could not be cashed out so far in Lahore.According to sources, the cheques bounced off due to insufficient funds in the bank account of Punjab government at the time when the cheques were presented by the affectees. At the time of distribution of the cheques the affectees were directed to cash out cheques after two weeks.DCO Lahore Sajjad Bhutta told media that the clearance of cheques will take one more week due to official documentation.It is pertinent to note that Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif announced a compensation amount of Rs 5 Lakhs for the relatives of the victims while Rs75 thousands for those who received injures due to the suicide bombing.
