The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) on Thursday has reopened the Chashma-Jhelum (CJ) Link Canal and 15,000 cusecs of water is being released in the canal. CJ link canal will open automatically after reaching 155,000 cusecs of Chashma barrage to Guddu barrage. For which, any further approval is not mandatory. 15,000 cusecs of water is being released in the CJ link canal. Now, Punjab will get its share of water.
