Summary
The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Thursday has ordered to dismiss 1345 employees of GEPCO and FESCO. It is maintained in a petition filed by a citizen Imran Aslam that recent posts of line men and naib qasid were not filled on merit and these employees were recruited on political basis which is violation of law. Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah after the completion of arguments of lawyers of both sides declared the recruitment as null and void and ordered to dismiss 1345 employees of GEPCO and FESCO.
