UFA, Russia: (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has on Thursday recommended BRICS to build roads and join hands for the progress of the world. He said that he wanted peace and progress in the region. PM Nawaz Sharif is scheduled to meet his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi on Friday, reported Dunya News.

Talking at the BRICS meeting, PM Nawaz Sharif said that all will have to join hands in order to bring peace and prosperity to the region. He said that Pakistan’s war against terrorism is for the peace of entire world. He said that Pakistan has given a lot in the war on terrorism and wants to keep a relationship of mutual respect and friendship with the world. He said that the peace and prosperity should be interlinked.

“My suggestions for peace and prosperity in the region are very important”, said Nawaz. “A network of roads and motorways is vital for improving trade. We’ll all have to join hands to fight the menace of terrorism and bring peace and prosperity to the country”, he added.

Nawaz Sharif said that Pakistan is fighting a war against terrorism. “Progress indicators are improving in Pakistan”, he said. He said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is being constructed and will soon transform the region into an economic hub.
