A petition was filed in the Lahore High Court on Tuesday challenging the Punjab assemblys anti-media resolution as being unconstitutional. Earlier, Punjab government assigned the task of evolving of a pro-media resolution to three senior leaders on Tuesday. The content of the said resolution would be evolved by Senator Pervez Rasheed, Sardar Zulfiqar Khosa and Law Minister Rana Sanaullah along with other parliamentary leaders. Media would also be invited for dialogue after charting out of the pro-media resolution. If media organizations declined the governments offer, they would be told about the resolution content on phone, sources added.
