Pakistan Muslim League-N has decided to overlook Nawaz Shairfs decision related to Sanaullah Masti-Khels expulsion from the party. PML-N has also decided to defend Masti-Khel, the mover of the controversial resolution. The party intends to suppress the issue by issuing a warning letter to Masti-Khel. PML-N MPs welcomed Masti-Khel by thumping desks for over 10 minutes to accord him one of the most impressive welcomes in the history of the Punjab Assembly.PML-N leaders including Senator Pervaiz Rasheed, Provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullah and Sardar Zulfikar Khosa summoned Masti-Khel to the Chief Ministers Chamber in the Punjab Assembly and handed him the verdict of disciplinary committee. He was informed that a detailed inquiry report regarding the issue will be handed released after two weeks. At least 40 MPs belonging to PML-N in the provincial assembly have threatened their party leadership to resign if it expels one of their colleague, Sanaullah Mastikhel.The party is facing severe rifts among its members on the issue while the fate of PML-N-led provincial government may also be hanged in balance due to the developments.According to sources, Sanaullah Masti-Khel has already been assured by senior level PML-N leadership that no strict action will be taken against him.
