Imran Khan trapped on '35 puncture' issue: Pervaiz Rashid
Information Minister says Imran Khan's own people have let him down, shouldn't be trapped now
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Pervaiz Rashid has on Saturday said that Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has been trapped on ’35 puncture’ issue. He said that he was let down by his own people and should avoid being trapped now, reported Dunya News.
Talking to media at an Iftar Dinner in his honor by senior journalist Arif Nizami, Pervaiz Rashid said that he would not be able to comment on judicial commission’s decision but offer Imran Khan a free advice. “Though he is a big leader and won’t listen to my advice, I’d suggest him to avoid people who trapped him in ’35 puncture’ issue”, he said.
Responding to a question on defense analyst Zaid Hamid’s detention in Saudi Arabia, Pervaiz Rashid said that he felt ashamed of the fact that Pakistanis create problems in other countries. “Zaid Hamid has never said anything good. He always talks evil”, he added.
Commenting on the turncoats, Pervaiz Rashid said that the political birds are looking for new nests.
Federal Minister said that the national media never reports anything good about Pakistan. “Whenever there is a good news on Pakistan in the media, it is in international media. Bloomberg report has admitted that Pakistan’s economy is progressing better than India’s”, he said.
Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader said that the National Action Plan cannot be implemented overnight; it is being worked at.
Pervaiz Rashid prayed on this occasion about the safe return of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) leader Tahirul Qadri to ‘his’ country, Canada.
