Summary Imran Khan said he will accept any decision made by the judicial commission.
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday said that Form 15 from one polling station should be the same in both copies but the returning officers (ROs) forgot to tally serial numbers while filling up the forms in haste.
“In NA-21 the form 15 extracted from bags is empty; but when a copy is called to the judicial commission, it is magically filled up,” Khan told reporters in Islamabad while commenting on ongoing probe into alleged rigging in 2013 general elections.
He said the same issue was witnessed in NA-125 constituency where the forms extracted from bags but their copies were absolutely different.
Khan said the role of Punjab Election Commission officials has been unveiled as they gave carte blanche to ROs who were jittery and nervous while testifying in court.
He said PTI lawyer Abdul Hafeez Pirzada during his arguments before the judicial commission today has proven that systematic rigging was done.
Pirzada used the then caretaker chief minister Najam Sethi’s admission that the administration was out of his control ten days before general elections, he said.
The PTI chief said he will not say anything about role of Chief Election Commissioner but it is the provincial election commission that must be held accountable.
