ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has taken notice of the deaths caused by severe heat in Karachi and has expressed deep grief and sorrow, Dunya News reported on Monday.
PM Nawaz has directed to establish heat stroke centers in all hospitals of the metropolis where immediate availability of medicines should also be ensured.
The PM also ordered to exchange ambulances from Edhi and Rescue 1122 to provide relief to the pateints.
In a statement, he said those hospitalized should be given best possible medical treatment.
He directed the concerned authorities to create awareness amongst the people about the current situation of heatwave in order to avoid more deaths.
Moreover, he also instructed to seek help from Corps Commander Karachi regarding the situation.
