KARACHI (Dunya News) - Pakistan Sunni Tehreek’s chief Sarwat Aijaz Qadri has denounced the news of his arrest by Rangers and has declared it baseless, Dunya News reported on Monday.
The spokesman of the party stated before that Sarwat Aijaz Qadri and senior leader Shahid Ghouri went to Rangers’ headquarters for meeting where they were detained whereas no statement was given by Rangers regarding the arrest.
Later while talking to media, Sarwat Aijaz Qadri stated all the information as baseless and said that he went to the headquarters for a meeting with the Rangers’ officials where views were exchanged on peace situation in Karachi.
Moreover, he also pledged complete support for Rangers’ operation in Karachi.
