ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Co-Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday phoned Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain and both the leaders agreed to eliminate differences. They said that Pakistan never needed unity more than it needs now, reported Dunya News.

According to the details, Asif Zardari has started contacting political leaders after his controversial statement about Pakistan army. He phoned Altaf Hussain to discuss the political situation of the country and the changes taking place around the globe. They agreed to eliminate their differences as both belong to the same soil.

Former Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf and Altaf Hussain also talked on phone. Both the leaders expressed good wishes for each other. Raja Pervez Ashraf said on this occasion that there was no truth in the rumors about him leaving the PPP.
