Summary ROs alleged deployed police officers of not cooperating with staff.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Returning Officers (ROs) have requested Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to conduct re-election in more than 50 polling stations of Nowshera, Dunya News reported on Saturday.
The hearing of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) local bodies election case was conducted by Election Commissioner Sardar Raza during which 11 out of 24 ROs informed the authorities that security arrangements were insufficient on the day of voting and alleged deployed police officers of not cooperating with staff.
The ROs have further urged the ECP officials to announce re polling in more than 50 stations.
