Three injured as PTI, PML-N workers clash during NA-108 by-polls
The scuffle between the contesting parties broke out at the polling stations 36 and 138.
MANDI BAHAUDDIN (Dunya News) – Violation of electoral code of conduct is being witnessed during NA-108 by-polls today (Monday) in Multan, Dunya News reported.
Clashes erupted between supporters of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf (PTI) as the parties violently smacked each other at polling stations 36 and 138, injuring as may as three people.

Provincial election commissioner Iqbal Zafar Hussain has sought the help from police and Rangers personnel to control the situation.
Provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullah has taken the notice of the firing and brawl between the parties.
Polling in by-election for National Assembly constituency NA-108 is underway in Mandi Bahauddin.
Election Commission (ECP) has set up 289 polling stations in the constituency among which 62 have been declared most sensitive.
The seat was fallen vacant after Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI’s) Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry was disqualified by Supreme Court (SC) in a fake degree and human trafficking cases.
According to the details, Pakistan Peoples Party (PP), Jamat-e-Islami (JI), Pakistan Muslim League-Qauid (PML-Q) and Awami Tehreek are also participating in the election however, a strong competition has been reported between the candidates of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and PTI.
As many as 4 lac 31 thousand voters would utilize their voting right during the polling.
Moreover, local administration has also imposed section-144 to avoid any mishap whereas the voting process would continue till 5pm.
