The federal government has sacked Deputy Attorney General (DAG) of Lahore Aamir Rehman on Monday. Aamir Rehman has confirmed that he received the notification relieving him of his duties. Rehman was appointed as deputy attorney general of Lahore in June 2008. According to the sources, Federal Law Minister Babar Awan Rehman sacked the DAG Lahore directly. Sources further added that there is a possibility that an internal conflict with Babar Awan caused Rehmans removal.
