PML-N's Rana Abdul Manan's eligibility challenged in LHC

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) successful candidate from PP-134 Rana Abdul Manan’s eligibility has been challenged in Lahore High Court (LHC) today (Friday), Dunya News reported.

The petition was filed by Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf’s (PTI) unsuccessful candidate Arif Khan in which he has adopted the stance that MPA Rana Abdul Manan possess two identity cards which is a serious crime and is against the rules of NADRA whereas this fact was also revealed from the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), therefore; he should be disqualified.

The court while accepting the plea for hearing has sought reply from federal government and ECP in four weeks.
