Summary The mother was advised not to let the hospitals know that she is a Pakistani

LAHORE (Web Desk) – Amidst the tensions and fleeting periods of good will between Pakistan and India, Mumbai has opened its heart for Saba, a 15-year-old girl from Karachi who is suffering from the Wilson’s disease, a rare genetic disorder.

The donations do not stop pouring in according to the NDTV. Saba’s mother, Nazia came to India with mere Rs 80,000 for her daughter’s treatment of the rare disorder assuming that Saba would be treated better there. The neighbour did not let the mother down as at least Rs 4.5 lac have been donated so far by the Indians.

According to the India Times, the mother was advised not to let the hospitals know that she is a Pakistani otherwise she should not be too hopeful. However, Nazia did feel it befitting to lie and keep her identity from the hospital’s administration. She disclosed the truth only to find out how generous neighbours she had.
