German parliamentary delegation meets Army Chief, discusses relations
Germany's parliamentary delegation discussed the matters of mutual interest with the COAS
RAWALPINDI: (Dunya News) – A delegation of German parliamentarians on Tuesday met Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif and discussed issues of mutual interest, reported Dunya News.
The delegation was led by German parliamentarian, and head of the economic committee, Dagmar Wöhrl. According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the German delegation appreciated the successes of Pakistan army in Operation Zarb-e-Azb and the efforts of the army in promoting peace in the region.
Mutual relations of the two countries were discussed on the occasion. German ambassador to Pakistan Dr. Syril Nunn also attended the meeting.
