Indian army chiefs statements unfair: Basit

Foreign Office Spokesperson Abdul Basit said the Indian army chiefs statement on the presence of terror camps in Azad Jammu and Kashmir are baseless.He said terrorism is a global issue. He added that this was just political statement issued by the Indian Army Chief. He said India and Pakistan have agreed to discuss issues relating to terrorism through cooperation. He further added the SAARC Interior Ministers Conference adopted an important statement on the fight against terrorism in the region.
