ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday has summoned representatives of non-government organizations (NGOs) and civil society on May 21 in the case regarding barring women to exercise their right to vote in PK-95 constituency.
The ECP held hearing of the case of PK-95 of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly. A three-member bench headed by Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan (CECP) Sardar Raza Khan held hearing of the case.
The returning officers (ROs) and the candidates filed their written statements during the hearing.
However, the ECP summoned the parties on May 21.
