Gilani vows to fulfil Armys needs

Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that the defence capabilities would be maintained despite the financial crunch facing the country, and added that the inclusion of F-16 fleet has enhanced the countrys defence. The PM expressed these views during a meeting with the defence minister Ahmed Mukhtar on Monday. The PM vowed to meet the needs of the armed forces.He said that global community acknowledged Pakistans role against terror and assured to facilitate the country with new and up-to-date weaponry. Later, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi also met with the PM. The PM he sought regional cooperation for social uplift and peace.
