Summary If there was something about MQM links with RAW, Rao should have informed DIG, says CM

KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has on Friday said that former SSP Malir Rao Anwar was not authorized to hold such a press conference. He said that Rao Anwar was suspended for exceeding from his authority, reported Dunya News.

Qaim Ali Shah said that Rao Anwar should have informed DIG instead of going into media.

On the other hand, Rao Anwar talked to Dunya News saying that it was his duty to reveal the reality of those arrested by him. He said that names of those arrested by Rangers are also highlighted before media. “Not taking action against the powerful was unfair”, he said.  Rao Anwar said that one political party gets its workers trained by RAW and these workers flee to India after committing crimes. He said that Joint Investigation Team (JIT) has been formed and all will be clear soon.

Sindh government had suspended Rao Anwar yesterday after holding a sensational press conference in which he had presented Tahir Lamba and Junaid before media and said that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) workers were being trained by Indian intelligence agency RAW and had accused MQM of working against Pakistan.
