Summary
Eight terror attempts to blow up railway tracks in Karachi and Ghotki were foiled. Up-and-down tracks were slightly damaged by four blasts in Ghotki and one near Bin Qasim in Karachi. Sindhu Desh Liberation Army claimed the responsibility of attacks. Villagers informed the Railway officials about the attack occurred near Tandi Phatak, Ghotki. After this, railway traffic was temporarily suspended and Awaam Express was stopped at Ghotki, Super Express at Sarhari, Fareed Express at Nawabshah, Shah Rukn-e-Alam at Sarhad Station while Hazara Express was stopped at Mirpur Mathelo Station. Pamphlets were found from railway track in which Sindhu Desh Liberation Army threatened to continue war till liberation of Sindh. Railway officials and bomb disposal squad reached the spot.
