2 army aircrafts carrying relief goods arrive in Nepal

Summary FO says aircrafts can bring 10-15 people back to Pakistan, teams will help in relief activities

KATHMANDU: (Dunya News) – Two aircrafts of Pakistan army carrying relief goods have on Sunday arrived in Nepal. The C-130 jets left for Nepal from Noor Khan Airbase. According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the goods carried by the aircrafts will help set up 30-bed hospitals.

They carried the team of expert doctors of Pakistan army, paramedical staff, eatables and other items, reported Dunya News.

ISPR told that Pakistan army’s search and rescue team is also part of the crew and they will have instruments to cut the concrete as well. Moreover, the crew also carries dogs trained by Pak army that can search for people stuck under debris.

On the other hand, Foreign Office (FO) said that C-130 aircrafts will be able to bring back 10-15 Pakistanis from Nepal. FO told that arrangement for food and transport has been made for Pakistanis.
