LAHORE: (Daily Dunya) – Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has completed 19 years of chairmanship as PTI has completed 19 years since its inception. It was established on 25th of April, 1996 in Lahore and Imran Khan has been its chairman ever since the party was made, reported Daily Dunya.
PTI’s anniversary will be celebrated in all the major cities of Pakistan. President PTI Punjab Ejaz Chaudhry has directed the party presidents of all the districts to celebrate the anniversary with great fervor by cutting cakes on 25th of April. Provincial president Ejaz Chaudhry and other officials of the party will celebrate the anniversary at the party’s Punjab secretariat.
In a message to the workers and officials of the party on this occasion, Ejaz Chaudhry has said that PTI workers must strive for ending corruption and outdated system from the country just like the way they have strived for the dignity of their vote. He said that the PTI will continue its struggle and will make Pakistan an Islamic and welfare state under the leadership of Imran Khan.
